Newmarket Late Night
Seed was a proud participant in the Newmarket Late Night on 18 October, a special event in association with Art Week Auckland (13-23 October)
Early in the evening, we were joined by the enthusiastic Newmarket Tour of Art group led by David Haigh. The tour took in four public sculptures and four gallery exhibitions, including Menagerie at Seed, an exhibition showcasing a wild and fantastic array of over 100 original prints, drawings, sculptures and paintings by some of New Zealand’s most promising contemporary artists.
Later that evening we had a visit from a group of cyclists taking in Art Week by cycle under the direction of Craig Neilson - a novel approach which is bound to grow in popularity in the coming years.
